you can go the user control panel and activate the advanced editor, then click the image button to insert a pic. Or put the code code around the url location of your picture like this:
[img] [url="http://www.ajcconventioncentre.com.au/photos/raceday/mid_race.jpg"]http://www.ajcconventioncentre.com.au/photos/raceday/mid_race.jpg[/url] If you quote a post that has a picture you will see the format you need if you aren't using the advanced editor.
You can also use the little yellow box above reply box
, when you put mouse on it it says insert image - click to open, then delete blue highlighted area in retangular box that will appear at top of page - just add URL of image. You can get the URL by clicking on properties of any image. Jut right click on image then click on properties at bottom, this will expose URL of image, you then highlight it and copy to mouse and paste in empty recantagle at top and save by clicking OK.
